Archives & Packages for Solaris 10 Sparc
The sparc archives were compiled on a Sun Ultra-Sparc IIIi-CU platform running Solaris 10 generic 10/08 or later. As a compiler I have used either gcc-3.4.3, gcc-3.4.6 or SunStudio. Please note, that some of the procompiled packs for the sparc platform are currently available only as tar.gz file. So for this you need to follow with the given instruction for each single package.

The following prerequisite packages from www.sunfreeware.com must be installed FIRST:

PostgreSQL-8.4.0	This is the PostgreSQL Version 8.4.0 compiled for sparc with gcc-3.4.3. readline, pam, kerberos5, ssl, zlib are compiled in. Enabled as well: thread-safety to work with sloni2 and dtrace. The package installs to /opt/SFP/pg-8.4.0 NOTE: pls. link libpq.so and libpq.so.5 from /opt/SFP/pg-8.4.0/lib to /usr/lib			9.9 MB
MIT Kerberos5-1.6.3	This is the MIT Kerberos5 Vers. 1.6.3 compiled with GNU gcc-3.4.6. Kerberos IV and OpenSSL-0.9.8j are enabled as well. Installs to to /opt/SFP/krb5-1.6.3 NOTE: Please link libgssapi_krb5.so.2, libkrb5.so.3, libk5crypto.so.3, libcom_err.so.3, libkrb5support.so.0 from /opt/SFP/krb5-1.6.3 to /usr/local/lib AND to /usr/lib			6.8 MB
cyrus-sasl-2.1.22	cyrus-sasl (V. 2.1.22) the secure authentication socket layer. The pack contains static AND shared libs. The following mechanisms are supported: Kerberos4 (MIT), Kerberos5 (MIT), auxprop for PostgreSQL + MySQL, SASLDB, anon, plain, ntlm, login, srp, srp-setpass, CRAM-MD5, DIGEST-MD5, GSSAPI (MIT). SFPUnrealIRCd-3.2.8.1	Unreal-IRCd is an internet relay chat server daemon what supports multi-links to other Unreal IRC servers as well. Over the past years IRC became very popular even to enterprises as they use the service e. g. for live chat support purposes. We have precompiled by default as much as possible modules for the IRCd. You need to modify all aspects in the etc/ directory. Where to put your own settings we have surrounded them with bracket: '<' '>'. The package depends on SFPtre and SFPcares-1.7.0 and installs to /opt/SFP/Unreal-IRCD. Please note, that anope-services are not yet included but we'll release it for sparc very soon.			6.20 MB

NOTE: If you follow up with the instructions given above, you'll have a properly working cyrus-imapd with sasl2 and with the facility to authenticate users against PostgreSQL and MySQL using the appropriate encryption mechanisms, e. g. openssl, krb4, krb5, cram, digest, pam.
